I'd say that it sounds like she was jealous and insecure. Sometimes, personality disorders come into view and can be comorbid, or go with bipolar disorder. Paranoia can be another part of bipolar disorder.
I can see why maybe the faith experience was tainted by your aunt. Perhaps your faith being jaded was simply because your aunt made the experience negative.
I believe that when the time is right, you will find your faith again.
Try to set healthy boundaries with your aunt but don't allow your aunt to overtake you or verbally abuse you.
Your aunt was trying to break your faith and she won. Try not to let her. Can you speak with the people at your church for guidance or did your aunt scare them off? I am sure there is someone in the clergy you can approach.
I agree with 4myson when she said that your aunt had a personality disorder. I recognize that my aunt was doing something similar but on a smaller scale. Either way, it is pathetic for an adult to try to break the faith or the security or confidence of a child. Is there someone at your church that you can talk to about this?
