Here is an excellent article on how to deal with the police in a criminal matter. It is lengthy, but well worth the read.

This particular article deals with a situation if your child has broken the law, but the article can be applied to anyone having to deal with the police.

Wow this a great find REW - I have always said my greatest regret in life was not to teach my children to remain silent and what their rights are. The little short video at the end is very good also and did you click on the hyper link of the authors name? He is a prisoner but he is very active and an author - quite impressive!

1. Shut up and tell everyone involved to shut up.
2. Get a good lawyer and do what they tell you. If you cannot afford a good attorney, the legal system isn't really even close to fair.
