and to answer your question memae no i did not have a lawyer all i did was write letters a letter to the AG of the US California's AG the Governor's office and in the letters i said that everything was being applied to me ex post facto because my offence was back in 1994 and i was done with my probation in 1997 i also said i was forced from my home that i had just moved into because a school was nearby i also said being disbled i had to borrow $1,000.00 to move in i also stated that i was a vet i served in the Marines and army Natl Guard also said my son was in Iraq at the time next thing i know i get a letter saying i did not have to register anymore so i was wondering what changed so i called the AG's office and i was told that a new law here in California had passed and i no longer had to register.but i am still doing what i can to try and help stop these insane laws if i can get off then others can as well and i do a lot of thinking if at one time i was so bad that they had to track me why take me off? also they say that once a RSO always a RSO going out doing bad things well its been almost a year and nothing has happend the one thing i would really love to do if i could get the chance is to get on a debate on TV if i could with Mark Lunsford thats my dream i would blow him out of the water if i got the chance lol ok i am rambling.......peace out and god bless

I was convicted of crime over 13 years ago. I met a girl who told me she was 19 years old and she looked it. I was 28 at the time, turning 29. We dated for about 6 months and during that time I met her mom and sister and step dad. I picked her up where she lived. I would go over to where she lived and hang out and watch movies with everyone there, parents, sister..... For 6 months I dated this girl and 1 day I got a knock on the door from Authorities saying they have a possible rape case on their hands and I am the accused. Of course with such good Law enforcement and their tactics, if you come with us, we will help you and work through this. If you talk to us about this we will help you in every way possible. Just write everything down to this point of what happend and we'll take care of it. Hmmm, thats what I did and they used my statement against me. But, not much to use against me when I told them exactly what happend. Next thing you know, I was defending my life. I was convicted of Attempt Criminal Sexual Abuse. 90 days in Jail, 2 years probation, 10 years registration with a Misdemeanor charge. But yet I am put on this sex offender list and categorized with OFFENDERS that do need help. I would never excuse a sex crime against a child. I would never excuse my crime if it was against a child and was deliberate. My so called child turned out to be 17 and it took 6 months for her family, for some reason, to press charges against me. I dont call what I did bad judgement because of what had happend other than dating someone younger than me to begin with. But I would of never dated someone below the legal age had I known. But thanks to the LAWS, lets throw all sex offenders together and make up this wonderful list.
For all Accused SEX OFFENDERS out there. If it was a child you did go after, then LORD help you and fix you. The accused SEX OFFENDERS out there who know they are innocent and are being judged by others, FUCK EM! To many people out there see the word sex offender and jump to judgements without actually knowing.
