We do need a new board. Absolutely! but not for the reasons some may think. we need a new board so we can talk freely about issues that are no one else's business.
In fact the only thing that really distresses me about this board is anyone can and does drop in to see what we are up to. do we really want to post our strategies on a public forum?
When you look at this as a battle you start to think about the precautions a good army takes...one is not disclosing operations, which i feel we do every time we discuss a particular bill. Why should we help them know what we are focusing on? we really need to look at our tactics and address our security.
I have been talking to some about setting up a new board, and we have come up with a floor plan. anyone with experience or knowledge setting up a new social site or has any ideas please p.m. me.

the f/b pages are good but so many can not get on, due to restrictions. which when you think about it is another issue that all of us could get behind since once again it is national.
i just think we need to better organize, maybe form committees that focus' on one front while others focus on other fronts. like a campaign.
Tukan, Sosen is a good site. for me there is something about it that is hard to navagate, feel claustrophobic just have not figured out how to use it to it's potential, or how to find the latest posts without skimming through a lot of old posts. i am sure it is me, and my inadequacies but i am sure i miss half the recent posts when i go in.
1. How much do you know about anyone in this group to trust adding them to a different board? I am sorry
anyone can have a sob story that is believable, but you don't want to add people that could cause harm
to you or the people who need the privacy of a second board.
2. It's the internet and it would be difficult to assure privacy for your members from any government entity
that would like to drop in on you and see what is being said.
Since this happened I've tried twice to get accepted on Sosen, both times using my real email address, but I've been ignored. I'm glad they are being careful but that means many who need help/support aren't getting it.
