I did some research on the Warden where your husband is there at Pahrump. If I remember correctly the Warden is a black lady named Collins; she has not been there long. The turnover rate with personnel in the federal prison system seems to be quite high.
It does not surprise me that the Warden told the Marshall that your husband had full commissary privileges and all this property. Corrections generally are very poorly operated and maintained. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing and there is generally a poor quality to the day to day operation of prisons almost to the point of incompetence.
He is basically in PC. I wonder if the reason they will not allow him to have anything in his cell is because they consider him a suicide risk. I know in the state system, the inmate's first 48 hours are without anything in the cell that could be used to hurt themselves. They even take shoelaces.
Of course, it is a Catch 22. His mental state may not improve until he gets put back on the meds he had before he went to prison and they will not allow him to have many meds or his property until his mental state improves, so.....
He needs to be back on his meds for Parkinsonism.
I think the best thing to do, Psalms, is to wait until next week to see what the U S Marshall finds out when he goes down there. I know it is another week, but I would wait to call CCA until the Marshall got back with me.
The sign on the door that says "Caution" is just ridiculous. That is something you would put on the cage of an animal at the zoo, not a prison. My God, he is locked up. What do they think he can do?
You said the psych nurse came to his cell. Are they making any progress to getting him some medical attention, not only for his Parkinsonism but also for his possible mental disability? Did he tell her he needed medical attention? Or did she just walk away?
You said, " I cant believe this warden blatantly lied like that."
I can. The entire prison system is predicated on the fact that nobody wants to take responsibility when something is amiss.
You are on the right track and are contacting the proper people. Nothing happens very quickly in a prison setting.
The fact that the U S Marshall gave you his cell number is an indication that he is earnest with wanting to get to the bottom of this.
I have already thought about going to the media as a last resort. Prisons don't think they have to answer to anyone, but they really hate lawsuits and bad media attention.
I am sending you a PM.

That is the one thing you cannot do. You two have suffered so much now that I would not give up for any amount of money.
The only way you can come out ahead in these cases is to fight tooth and nail.
