kinda lost here.

i'm filling out a paper/form for my daughter's prison councilor. it asks:

#7) "relationship" = "mother".
#8) "do you desire to visit her?" = "yes"
#9) "did you know his person prior to her current incarceration" = (uhhh) "yes".
#10) if you answered yes to #9, indicate the length of time you had known this person and where the relationship
began.
#11) have you ever been convicted of a crime? if shoo, state the number, date, place and type.

are they really asking me how long i've known my daughter? and where the relationship began???

do i have to list speeding tickets????

probably dumb questions on my part but i do not want to screw this up in any way, shape or form!!! it also asks about aliases? do i have to list nicknames and email/facebook name??? i do not use my birth name on facebook.

On #9 I would put "known since birth; she is my biological daughter."

On #11, I would put "no, no felony convictions, only a few traffic tickets."

When they refer to any aliases, no they are not referring to names like EchoMoon or rewdiazepam. They are asking if you have an aliases you use when signing checks, or doing official business.

Speeding tickets are a violation or an infraction not a crime. The question would be more accurate if it asked have you ever been convicted of a misdemeanor or a felony.

Lol I would be sarcastic on that form. How do you know this person? I carried her in my uterus for 9 months. How long have you known this person, for as long as she has been alive.

Oh Echomoon, make sure when you send your copy of your license to copy front and back to be on the safe side. I would not joke either because those people can keep you from seeing your son by saying they did not get everything, etc. I would also keep a color copy of what you send because I had to send mine in 3 times with all of my family members. What a pain and if I had to get copies of everybody's licenses again, it probably would have taken even longer. As it was, it took nine months to finally see my son. Good luck!

independent, i actually snickered when i read that question. and thought really? 7mths & 34yrs total time. "had unprotected, deliberate sex with her father and got pregnant. at about 2 months i felt movement and knew that someone was in the oven. LOL
