Today will be a day that will go down in history like many others in the past. Today is the beginning of the second Holocaust. Remember this day, February 1st 2016. When I thought things could not get any worse, they do and will continue to get worse. All our worst fears are being executed. In the eyes of politicians, everyone of us are monsters, everyone one of us is a time bomb ready to attack. Anyway to get votes and put fear in the brains of citizens. I am done people, THIS LIFE SUCKS. Am I even a citizen anymore? Do I have ANY rights? The answer is NO. I am no more then a picture to be looked at and scorned. I have no legacy for my children, I cant even travel the world with them and show them all the beauty, because they think i am going to do something to a minor. ENOUGH!!!!!!! ENOUGH!!!!!! ENOUGH!!!!!

That so sucks. SO's that have done time have done their time and yet more and more restrictions. So pissed off!!!!

I am beyond pissed. I really had hope that the truth and common sense will prevail and the right decision would be reached. This is way too close to Nazi Germany. It is an outrage to see these Politicians lie and lie to get their votes. The registered citizens are not the threat here. Most have their own families are well liked by friends, family and co-workers and only want to live their lives. Stamping anyone's passport is a disgrace and violates constitutional rights. I just can't believe this can pass. I hope the lawsuits will start now, just like they did with the presence and residency restrictions. This can't possibly be approved by the President.

Very sad news, but I would fight back by traveling anyway and holding my head up high and ignoring the ignorance of others. Showing by example that your life matters, that's the most important legacy you can leave. Keep the faith and hopefully this will get shot down at the top if enough people speak up.

We need to press that this decision is not based on evidence or statistics at all and only sounds good, but in reality, it does nothing to protect children. I want to see numbers of SOs who traveled and engaged in sex trafficking or child abuse abroad....I also want to see IF there is such crime, who committed it. Was it someone on the registry? If not, there is no reason to target people who have proven to be no threat. Should we stamp passwords of people convicted of DUIs, murders, etc, too? They might harm children by driving drunk or going on a killing spree while traveling. It is becoming ridiculous and this law is just not based on facts. Please, let's all take action. We need to make a difference in numbers.

Pete, it means they will stamp your passport with an identifier saying you are a SO, and the countries will send you packing back home when you arrive.

I don't think Obama will veto it. I pray that isn't the case, but not holding my breath. It still doesn't change the fact that I won't attempt to contact him and tell him WHY it should be veto'd.
