From speaking with Vicky and the frustration I've found when this first happened to our family I've decided to start a blog/website. I work 60-70 hours a week but I will try, at least once a week, to work and update this. Let me know if you'd like to help, as a moderator/poster.
W.A.R. and other groups such as FAC, RSOLs have their place but if you look at history the only way to win a campaign is to fire up the base, given them back power. Knowledge is power and RSOs are kept in the dark and isolated. I'd like to have somewhere that information can be shared and a contact to actually reach someone who can give out more info if needed. I see this nowhere. MOst of the organizations are bare bones and the few in charge take on jobs that, even tho are gallant, are really not affecting things going on with RSOs. I've brought this up, but most just think that 3 women in an organization can move mountains all by themselves.
Again, knowledge is power and self empowerment of the masses is, what I think, is needed. I may be wrong. .but at least there would be a place for RSOs and family to make contact here in PA.

You are right in many ways. Most men on the "list" do not want to make waves. They just want to do their time and get it over with. The problem has become that that time never ends.
I have always been a behind the scenes person. It's just the way I'm built. I am also tired.
I still think we need another Mary.
Mary had the perfect mix of a son's sympathetic story and a alpha female personality. We don't have anyone who fits the mold at this time. We can't dwell on what we don't have, we have to learn to adjust our playbook to the personnel available, like any good coach will do.
Let's hope for that "Blue Moon". In the meantime, we will do what we have always done.
