I am not computer savy! So my question is... how do you post a link? For example if i want to post a link how do i do it? I never said i was a computer genious. Usually when i have computer questions i ask my kids. How pathetic is that?
Go to the page or site which you want to link to---that is, the site you want the person to go when they click your link.
In the upper left corner of your browser---the programs you use to surf the internet---there is an address of the site. It is a long line of text and it begins with http/: or https/:
Put your mouse on the text----the http address---- and right click your mouse. A box will pop open. On that box, move your mouse down to "copy" and click with your left mouse. Now you have copied that link to your clipboard.
Now go down in the document----the message box where you normally type your messages---- where you want to place the link. Place your mouse where you want to put the link. Right click there and that same box will pop us as you saw before. Move your mouse to "paste" and the link will appear where you had your mouse in your document. From there it can be treated as a line of text and you can move it as you want.

Paste the long url in the box and click the "Make TinyURL" button. You'll end up with the option to copy the short TinyURL to the clipboard which you can then paste here and it's always short enough to work.
