I have wanted to write here many times but don't know what to say. Fear, shame, guilt, ect.... Last year my world was rocked. It was like someone had punched me in the gut. My son was arrested for abusing his daughter. I just couldn't believe it. So much I can't say do to the fact that it is an on going case. I am a survivor of abuse and my son was born out of that abuse. I thank God for him as he is what saved me. Never in a million years would I have ever thought he could do such a thing. I hated sex offenders. I thought that they were the lowest form of scum around. I see them differently now. My heart hurts for them. Sorry not all of them. We are in one of the worst states to be a SO. I love my son and what has happened wont change that. I lost my son that night along with my 3 grandchildren. My beautiful world is like Humpty Dumpty never to be put back together again. He has a PD who only tells him "your looking at life". Never anything positive to say to him.
