I just spoke with my lawyer in regards to my plea deal.

I signed it last week and he told me, just a few minutes ago that the date to enter my plea is next Tuesday.

He has said that he doesn't think I will be incarcerated until sentencing but he can't guarantee it as the judge may just make it so due to it being a standard policy for anyone who pleads guilty.

I am a first time, non violent offender (possession of cp)

Do you think I will be put in jail until sentencing? I am in Northern California (San Francisco Bay Area)

I am going to be sick... I am so fucking scared

My friends husband was sentenced in California on a CP charge (federal). She is currently in Oakland in
Federal Court fighting the International Megan's Law. Passport case which is being held today!

Upon her return tomorrow, I will report to you what happened in her husbands case. He is serving 5.5 yrs in federal prison.

Dear CC, listen to REW and others when it comes to a cover story and stick to it. The sooner you start your time, the sooner it will be over so keep that in mind. Whatever happens, you will survive this and come out a stronger person. You have had the advantage from this site of learning from others who have experienced what you are about to experience. As you can see, they all survived and so will you. Whatever happens, you will be in our thoughts and prayers. We will be looking forward to hearing from you when you are released, which I hope is not too far away from now.

My son was taken into custody immediately after he was found guilty by a trial of his peers. He was in county until sentencing. Sentencing was 32 days from the trial. At sentencing he was then taken back to county until they transferred him to RDC. From there he was sent to prison.
I wish you the best. Stay strong mentally and physically.
