like Ive said, the most loudest are often the ones to do the least.The people MOST often to be o pessamistic are the ones who hide behind fear and the powers of others. My wife IS a survivor of sexual abuse, the SAME type crime I was sent to prison for.I am also a survivor of sexual abuse. There is no 'PLOY' or 'PLAN' to take people and do wrong. I am NOW a reborn Christian who is attempting to assist others who are in my same predictament is all.
as for oneofthem, sounds like youve taken things personally.I HEAR all youve done...( with hundreds of people to assist), personally I doubt you would squash a grape if it were under your foot! I understand your scared,we all been through it, but you cant go through life mistrusting EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY or youll end up all alone.Im married to a wonderful woman who IS a survivor and works hard to fund this whole IDEA Ive master-minded.Weve also got a few churches onboard who believe that great misjustice has taken place that we need to resort to this...they also have been large contributors to this project.

That's great I don't know what city your in but the ideal is great. That's what i'm trying to do for my guy is buy some land. We live in charlotte nc . there are lots of place you could live if someone would let you in it's a shame how they outcast so and felons. Where lucky cause we have some cash saved up so we will be able to buy but alot of people don't
.so i just hope that u buy a truck to so your able to buy cheap houses and move them there.

@ mohawk..do you believe everyone on the registry is a criminal and that they need to own up to whatever Ludacris charges that particular state has decided they are guilty of? with the "one size fits all" criter the goverment uses to brand someone a sex offender , than your logic would be the same as if we said every gun owner is murderer. There are many wrongly convicted here as well as victims of draconian laws (such as romeo and Juliet) who have done nothing wrong to own up to.

It's a interesting idea though I don't know if setting something like this up in the middle of nowhere is the right way to go about it can be hard to live in the country.
Just don't paint everyone with the same brush my man is one of many who are wrongly convicted.

it is not as unusual as one may think, to set up a project like this. though when i think of commune, i think of this definition:

which does NOT appeal to me at all....
but then there is this one as well...

5.any community organized for the protection and promotion of local interests, and subordinate to the state.

now, there are many of these around, granted they are religious based. i would be interested in hearing about others that are not, and who are they? i know militia / survivialist do it, but anyone else? and what are their common interests? i really do find the concept interesting, and dont mind learning more of it.

I also have to put in my 2 cents, I have ALOT of respect for oneofthem, his opinion is well respected here as well as himself as a person, like I have said before, I wish I had 10% of his strength, but I don't, I am one of the ones who live in constant fear of this label I am stuck with but dont deserve and never meant to have. However I find what Mohawk is trying to do for many of us is commendable, I also know that it will only work for a very few, and let me explain, most of us have families ( children from a previous marriage that I personally can never leave, Many of us have medical conditions ( I have heart conditions) others have PTSD, there will be no place to get help with these illnesses, also people enter things with good intentions, but get lazy, will you make them get out? for not doing their share? Who will protect us from outside intruders, people that want to hurt or destroy us, they will know exactly where we are. Who will police us? Isnt it true, that as long as you are on American soil, you must register? I am not putting the idea down at all, just thinking about how it actually works

Yeah, no offense Mohawk, i was kinda off put by your questioning why an innocent person would take a plea. Most people going through this know why.
However, it's all good, some people just don't know.
Your idea, like others have said, is okay for some, not so much for others.
I like the idea of communal living, but if I was to do so, it would be with my long-time friends, and most probably in my state. This state has been home to my family since 1727, when my several times great-grandfather moved here from Germany. I have no intention of letting people with stupid ideas for laws (residency restrictions etc.) run me out.
