I was browsing around and I found a reference to this web site that can be very valuable when tracking sex offender legislation by subject, by state, and by year.
I will not take credit for this as I saw the post over at SOSEN, so I want to give them credit. I just wanted to post it here as I think it will help us all to know the laws and how they have changed.

You will notice there are several criteria listed for your search----the topics, the state, the status, the year, the bill number, etc.
You can then do a search and it will return all the results containing your criteria.
I have been testing it on Oklahoma and it seems to be fairly accurate.
Just thought this might benefit someone.

If you want to make things a little easier and are only concerned with the bills that actually were enacted into law, on the "Status" field, make sure you have the "enacted" choice selected.

I guess it means that in 2014 in Iowa there was not any new sex offender legislation enacted.
I am not from Iowa, but is that correct? Did you have some new sex offender laws enacted in Iowa in 2014?
I am new at using this site, but it did seem accurate for Oklahoma.

There is no active reform organization in the state, as far as I've been able to discover.
I did a new search of the database for 2013 and did find one law enacted in Iowa. So, I guess not much happens in Iowa, except the corn getting higher.
