I am over here in the USA about to visit him does anyone have anyone in FDC Herlong CA?
There is not a day that passes in fact throughout a day I do not think of him and like you miss him so much.
I can only pray he may get transfered back to the UK one day.
blessings on your joy Andy
Congratulations! Trust me, this is the one day that your son will never forget as long as he lives. Being out of prison and having freedom, with all the wonderful things that we have but take for granted, is a once in a lifetime experience.
I served eight years and I can remember everything about that day just as if it happened yesterday. I remember the COs that checked me out, I remember what the weather was like, hell, I even remember every inmate who shook my hand and said "Bye."
Give your son some space, as it does take a little while to adjust. If he appears to have changed a little---matured more or has a different outlook on life, especially people---don't be alarmed. Prison changes everyone it touches, and I suspect it changes families, too.
Good luck and God Bless your family,
rewdiazepam
Good luck and many prayers to you and your family.
