I always try to speak to the severely injured sex offender. Remembering that not all are lucky as to have a home, job or family.

Sometimes all it takes is a little kindness and hope. I do know what is going on now is evil and the people that distort the truth and seem to get off on misery of others are evil.

I seen this photograph and his eyes spoke volumes to me. He wouldn't have to say one word for me to understand.

Awful, just awful, esp. in light of the fact that he would be off next year. I suppose that when you're that down, next year might as well be 10 years away.

Yep LilyMom, and throw in the fact that laws are constantly in a state of flux, and change, still mostly for the worse..I've just some up against something, I had a feeling this would happen. Just this Jan. 1st a new law went into effect in CA, that changes the chances of me getting a CA Certificate of Rehabilitation. Seems like I now have to RESIDE in CA for 5 years, prior to applying. I'm in my 9th year of 10 years from when parole ended for me. If I come back to CA from the Philippines, I have to deal with all the laws there, AND, there's a very good chance I won't be allowed to travel again outside of the US, and I can't sponsor my wife to come there (she doesn't want to anyway, the US scares her with what's happening with the laws). So, basically, my marriage is over. My wife is freaking out right now, very despondent.

Dbradford, i thought you were no longer in the US. If you aren't, why come back? I would stay there in the Philippines if that is where your family live, and don't have to worry about the draconian laws here.

I do live here in the Philippines, for now. Can't get a paying job abroad, because my 'history' shows up in the databases they use. I watch the noose getting tighter and tighter, and the plans to implement an International Meagan's Law.

I try to help out as I can, RSOL, W.A.R., SOSEN, even USA FAIR. I think it's up to ALL of us to support the greater fight, however we can, while still being mindful of and working on our OWN specific, unique situations.

I've been told that I'll have to come back to Kalifornia, and live there for who know how long, 3,5,7 years depending on who you talk to, before applying to get off the registry. I want, need to get off this merry-go-round, as I know everybody here needs for it to end in some way for them and their loved ones. Oh, and I'm currently 50 as well..

Correct! And my Filipina wife has never even traveled to the US, much less lived there. But, she's being affected by the US laws also, since she's married to me. All because some US politician wants to get re-elected, or because John Walsh has a master plan..

Haha, afraid that time has come and gone, a LONG time ago LilyMom. Thinking about it, it never should have happened (or allowed to happen) in the first place. But hey, it's ALL about the money (and control), right?

I think there's a lamp post with John Walsh's name written all over it, come the revolution and the victory. After that, there's a special place reserved for him in Hell. But, that's just my opinion. Him, and a host of many others...

Personally? I understand ol' John was involved with some majorly BAD players there in FL, organized crime. Shocking right? I think Adam was a 'warning' for John to straighten up and fly right, or perhaps some sort of punishment. I'm pretty sure there were very shady dealings going on in his history. Yeah, no history or evidence his son was sexually assaulted. But, he's making lots of money now off of us, hell a LOT of people are from our suffering and abuse.

I wish the Adam Walsh case, or even John himself could be investigated now, or in the future, someone who couldn't be bought off or 'eliminated' during the investigation. I'm sure it would be enlightening and an eye-opener on America's darling..

As a parent who's heart is full of grief, I can understand the motives at the beginning. I can see channeling it as a source for change. But at some point I can see letting it go too.

Yep Advocate2, and he BOASTS about that fact..and, there he is, exempt from the very laws he helped create.
