In SC, away from the tourists areas, they regularly publish newspapers with photos and details for about a $1.00 at grocery stores, etc. Seems to be for making a buck rather than doing any public good.

Yeah I saw this the other day too. It just made me want to scream at the person who kept on going to the school when they weren't allowed to. One bad apple ruins it for everyone else.

Of course the delegate is also a moron for not using a single brain cell and not looking at any research when it comes to sex offenses. I think a super intendent is better capable of making an informed decision than an angry mob. To take it out of their hands and put it in the mob's hands, that is just ridiculous.

The Virginia General Assembly 's new session started on MLK day (the 19th). I reached out to my representatives on three items, this being one of them.

Independent - the one bad apple really gets me upset. The ACLU is doing the right thing.
Having this advertised in the paper turns into Facebook posts - and the hearing could turn into a mob scene, as more than just "concerned citizens" show up. This does nothing for the safety of the family of the XSO.

sometimes i honestly think that the whole sex offender issue is going to have to get a whole lot worse before it gets better and we start seeing some smart, common sense laws!

how many times have we read where someone like this campbell has gotten off of charges themselves? or gotten their own kid out of the shit that they have done or caused? or have gotten a relative or close friend out of big trouble because they could use their position, power and money?

when the time comes that EVERYBODY has to suffer these asinine laws, no matter who they are or how much money they have??? then we will see a huge change!

i am not a vindictive person, but..... it's gotten to the point that i wish, hope and pray that every single law maker that has pushed these laws find themselves on the wrong end of them. that includes their family, their kids and their friends! i hope that they all have to answer to the mess of having their lives, futures, hopes and dreams destroyed by facing, dealing and living with the sex offender laws and issues that they are so frucking in love with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
