Good video, though difficult to understand what Mr. Book has to say at the rally.

The potty chair is brilliant! But not as smart as the way you point out the irony of the whole thing at the end...the big tour bus...the tee-shirts...the giant signs...the expense of it all. And then the child made homeless.

I'll have to say, though. Underneath all the glitz and the insensitivity to others that is demonstrated by the Books, the other thing I get a sense of is the absolutely mind-boggling guilt that Ron Book must feel. To me, this big show isn't about protecting kids. Its about deflecting Ron Book's guilt. The more money and "stuff" the better. Protect the kids! Wow! That's good. What a good thing Ron Book is doing for the children of Florida!

Except, as Derek has exposed...only some kids MAY be better protected...perhaps in a way that Lauren was not. Ron could not/did not protect Lauren....

Perhaps this is really more about protecting Ron Book from really having to look inside of himself. That's it. Create a big, noisy parade so you don't have to hear the voice of truth within yourself, Ron.

I suspect, Derek, that Ron had to smoke you out because it would be too unbearable for him to face the complexities of this issue where "protecting" one harms another.

Really good job! The thing that I think bothers me is that most people will see the involvement of LE as support of the Book's cause when actually it is becasue they paid big bucks for it!

True Advocate. People will assume that they are there in support. But that event took a lot of police resources away from other areas that need police attention. Because of that, Ron Book has to pay the police department to be there, pay for the salaries of the men and women present, even possibly their overtime.

If they were just there for crowd control, there wouldn't be nearly as many officers there, and still paid by the Books.

That's great publicity .doing rallys protest and lawsuits..ohh how I wish we had things like this happen in Tennessee ..not far from where I live .I can travel short distances .and I'd have my lil boy join in the rally too. I think if we had tons of people doing these rally's .and the children marching with signs of what the registry doe . ..letting the govts see how many kids are affected by this . I think that would make an impact .Our children should natter too!

What about a national day where everyone from every state, and county come together and protest the registry and its collateral affect?

What Book said that I wanted people to hear was him thanking children for breaking open their piggy banks and giving to their charity.

Imagine poor ramen-noodle consuming college kids and maybe even real kids giving their meager savings to millionaires. To me, that is absurd.
