if true by all means - however I do not just "buy into" anything Walsh, the media, or the politicians say ... not buying this one hook line and sinker

John Walsh should know. He has been the ultimate charlatan and grifter for several decades, throwing out myths and using emotion to frighten the general public. This is one reason we have unreasonable prison sentences and our prisons are bursting at the seams.

His presence would be welcomed if he did not play on the public's fears by continuing to play the emotional card.

While I realize that people like John Walsh, Mark Lunsford, and Edward Smart have suffered a terrible tragedy, their grandstanding for extreme sentences---and counterproductive laws---- has not served this country well.

It is a mystery to me why Mr Walsh demands so much pity for himself for his own dead son while showing no pity whatsoever for all the young boys adjudicated as adults and labeled forever-sex-offenders under the AWA, While he becomes rich off his son's death and they are sucked forever into a system that demands more young kids pay restitution for Mr. Walsh's insatiable desire for revenge. celebrity and $$$.
