This poor guy expected to be exonerated on the results of a polygraph.
This is what happens when a person tries to play their game, on their home field, using their rules, and with their referee-----on Dr. Phil, no less.
Don't talk to cops if you are a suspect and do not agree to take one of these horrifically barbaric tests unless you are forced to. The mere idea that someone can determine if you are lying with this method just leaves me speechless.

Maybe a big game show of polygraphy, call it Am I lying? Where you pit polygrapher versus polygrapher to see what percentage of questions they accurately predict as truthful or deceptive. Give the test subjects 1,000 for every lie they can get away. It would make for interesting TV and would hopefully show the folly in putting too much stock in the polygraph.
