One of the bigger things I noticed was the largeness of the name of our forum when you first reach the page. I was thinking maybe changing the name to something like.... Families of SOs... Less Bold and OUT THERE for anyone to look over your shoulder to see...

Please let me know what you think... Everyone please speak up!?!

OH I would definitely change the title and description to something that anyone could follow to find us... I have already changed the name slightly to minimize the impact of the Headline that the title looks like on a laptop screen. using the common SOs instead of Sex Offenders seemed to be the best way to do that, since most people that are looking for us already know the acronym... But not everyone does, heh.

I will jump over as well once the other site it going Wisconsin. My big sticking point is no mods in the groups. Not a good idea no matter what the group is.

ok, i'm kinda lost here with this new stuff!
if you change up the name it wont be any problem for those of us who have been here awhile. but what about new people looking for support, help and advise? will they still be able to do a search and find us? that is my worry. there is more and more who are running afoul of the laws. and so many people are looking for this groups does.

i'm thinking that i don't like this at all! i don't read each and every single post. i pick and choose the 'discussions' i am interested in.
if DS is reduced to this??? nah, not gonna work.
