Any offender wants to avoid any of the Bible Belt states----Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, the Carolinas, and Virginia. Any of the southern states are terrible places for sex offenders. Florida is hell on earth for offenders.
Also avoid Arizona, California, and the Midwest states such as Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, etc.
The best states for sex offenders are those in the Pacific Northwest and the New England area. Oregon is good, and Pennsylvania is not bad in relation to other states.
If you want any more specific information, message me. I check the board here about every day, and I will get back with you.

Have you read Oklahoma’s sex offender statutes??? I do some legal research for folks, and Oklahoma has a bunch of rules and restrictions for registrants.
I was on the sex offender registry in Oklahoma for 13 years. Not only do they have the residency restrictions and the sex offender registry, they also have buffer zones, a mark on the person’s driver’s license, and several other restrictions for registrants. Oklahoma also limits where registrants can live, who they can live with, and where they can work.
Also, not every state in the union has residency restrictions. Kansas and Pennsylvania do not have any residency restrictions of buffer zones.
I would definitely stay out of North Carolina.
