Ordering books for an ADC inmate

My husband is currently incarcerated within the Arkansas Dept. of Corrections. I just ordered a book for him off of Amazon. Is this an acceptable site to order books from for him?

As long as the books are paperbacks you can order through Amazon.

Here is some info from Prisontalk regarding sending books to an Arkansas inmate----

For Arkansas prisons, the books or magazines must be shipped by company. For Amazon it would have to be from a bookstore or Amazon (no indivudials) and have to be shipped to the inmate. At your local bookstores you can go in and buy the items and the bookstore wil ship it for you( B&N) is awesome with this. Also check with the unit they are at because they are limited to the number of books they can have (@ Mcpherson and Hawkins) we could only have 3 and 0 in boot camp.
