Great news! 18 - 1! And I felt like the quotes they gave showed some intelligent conversation on the issue. They didn't just react out of fear and ignorance and they spoke of a desire to educate the Senate (whom they expected to vote simply out of fear and ignorance.)

There are some smart people out there after all. Now, we need more states to follow suit. End this ridiculous witch hunt. We don't live in the cave age anymore.

You will notice which state used some common sense here and passed this bill.

This would never happen in any of the Bible Belt states. I live in one and the people here are truly stuck on stupid.

This is why I tell every sex offender to stay away from the Bible Belt if at all possible. Their goal every legislative session is to think up how many sex offender restrictions they can pass---and most of them are retroactive.

I agree with you 100% Rew, stay out of the bible belt states if at all possible, just more pain in many of these states. After reading some of the post since I have been very busy this past few months, I see many new members and the same stories, I really hope this can one day end for the many.
