They have recently made a breakthrough achievement in the use of lie detectors. The former method has been replaced by a robotic technique designed by some of the foremost scientists in the field of criminal forensics. Hopefully, this will soon replace the outdated and unreliable polygraphs used today.
Even though in its initial stages, they have named this new technique simply, the "Lie Detecting Robot."
This was recently tested on a normal American family with astounding results-----

This new technology was recently tested at the dinner table of a normal family-----.
Dad: Son, where were you today during school hours?
Son: At school.
The robot slaps the son.
Son: Ok! I watched a DVD at my mates.
Dad: Which one?
Son: Kung Fu Panda.

Son: Ok! It was a Porno.
Dad: WHAT? When I was your age I didn’t even know what porn was!
The robot slaps the Dad.
Mom: Hahahahaha! After all he’s your son.

So many of the requirements on probation are nothing more than smoke and mirrors---- gimmicks----and the polygraph is no different.

On the bright side: Bob says if /when convicted (again) our guy should have ask for time served (you know the 18 years before he was again erroneously convicted) and try shorten his "life" a little!
I get really stressed, along with a lot of anger, when I see some of the tactics used and the end result. I don't sleep well when I watch them and the effect of the show stays with me for several days. I just don't need that kind of stress. And I do understand both the feelings that you and Bob have. It is normal.
