Welcome to the board. There are lots of wonderful, intelligent mothers, wives, and girlfriends here who have compassion and either are going through this process or have been through the process.
They may be the only group of people in the world that know exactly how you feel or what you are going through. Experience is the best teacher of all.
No matter what, I want you to always know that this is DOABLE.
You CAN do this, trust me. I have seen young ladies or moms come on this board the last two or three years just like yourself---apprehensive, scared, hurt, and not knowing what the hell is going on. They made it just fine and there is not one reason that you cannot make it through this also.
No, it will not be fun and games, but it is not the end of the world either.
A couple of hints------1) take one day at a time. Do not try to think too far ahead in the future about something that may or may not happen, and 2) learn to compartmentalize things. Just take one problem at a time without worrying about all the problems at once.
You can come here and speak from the heart, as this is a safe place and nobody gets ridiculed. We all understand.
Of course, do not give out too many details and keep your identity a secret as one never knows when some fruitcake would use your identity to harm your husband's case.
Not only is this forum a good place for support, but it is also a good source of advice.
God Bless you,

My son was married while waiting for his process to complete, to a wonderful young woman who read every word of the transcript and complaint and saw right away what a set up this whole thing is. Sounds a lot like you!
Just as with your fiancé, my son's clock is now ticking fast. Trial is just a few months away, and a conviction would mean five years, minimum, with no chance for early parole. Fortunately, in his case, the DA has started to negotiate with our attorney and it seems increasingly likely that, even though accepting anything out of this makes me furious, we will get an offer that keeps him out of jail.
I certainly hope your fiancé also finds a way to stay at home with you.
