Well, when the fire department told the anonymous neighbors (next door) to quit calling our fires because we have a permit and follow the permit guidelines, the neighbor yelled really obscene stuff over the fence at us (while fire dept was still here...in front of his family....and children...) well this weekend I get a knock on the door by the cops to investigate "neighbors reporting underage drinking" ....we were gone ALL evening, I had just got home and he left to stop at the gas station for a snack..cops listened to what I had to say, which I said we've been getting harassed by our neighbors. .explained what happened with the fire,dept..they kinda rolled their eyes and left. So....what's next? I'm sure that won't be the last of those phone calls, but what's going to happen when the cops tell them to stop calling? How do I press harassment charges on someone who's doing this "annonymously", even though I know who it is
Seems as though Swann, Lorex, and Zmodo are the big three when it comes to outdoor security cameras but I know I've seen some from Samsung and Panasonic at Best Buy, Costco, Sams Club and Amazon.
Do take notes on every phone call and every bit of abuse they throw at you if you have witness when they do it get them to sing the information you have written down, and if you can set up a camera front and back of your place but be careful how you angle them you don't want them saying your spying on them! Camera do work and have saved my brother!
