Does anyone know how things are in Lansing Ks for a SO? He currently in Oswego Ks. They may transfer him to Lansing. He has only been in prison for a little over a year and has earned 66days of good time. I'm not sure he has his credit for time served in county.

Nobody, not even a SO, gets hurt at a minimum unless they make some collosal mistake.
Lansing has a maximum, medium, and minimum; but since he will be at the minimum, he will be relatively safe unless he does something completely stupid like snitches on another inmate or gets so far in debt he cannot pay.
Tell him to keep a low profile, mind his own business, be RESPECTFUL (very important in prison), do NOT make a habit of visiting with the COs, and do not act like a weirdo. He will do fine.

PS Don't let KS cheat him out of his county time. Once he is at Lansing, he can go to the law library and they can file to get all his good time while in the county jail.
