They don't care REW - it is not their money they are spending - it's ours!

They're going for it. With pot becoming legal in the next few years they need to fight the war. The war is always something that is continuous even when the name of that war changes.
The war on drugs , the war on sexual predators, the war on war.. Our country just doesn't want to live in peace.
I'm an atheist but I shake my head when the USA, which is supposed to be the closest to a Christian nation as it comes, yet it's not very Christ like.

Watch, soon we'll have commercials about child safety and be careful of Sex offenders. The war is gearing up .. but in the end , we will win. It will take time but eventually they'll find something else and we'll be freed.

$45,000 for victim's issues…drop in the bucket. Millions to keep SO's under their thumbs. Nothing for prevention. What you do you expect?

all that money, and for what? to throw into the fire of what is already out of control. the registry is already bloated with names of people who have been convicted of real and imaginary sex crimes. convicted of simply everyday things that are done without thought or even from habit. but...... more money is suppose to make it all better and easier to do and maintain.

i think that the registry has become or is an addiction or a contagious disease for all the fed and state government toady's. give them more money so that they can get even sicker with their power.

it's like throwing money at an addicted gambler.

or throwing and pouring more alcohol for the alcoholic.

all that wasted 'free' money wont do a damn thing to cure or end their addiction.

Your right Nak. For being a Chrisitians nation, we aren't being very Christ like. Many "Christians" are the most judgmental of all of them. They are the ones who advocate to punish sex offenders and believe none can be redeemed, when the bible says otherwise (as well as statisics).

It will not be long that there will be more people on the registry than not , then what ? Reverse it, if you are not a sex offender put your name on the registry , if you name is Not on the list you cannot work here !
