My son was charged with 2 counts SA 4th degee. Signed a plea for 60 months. I'm here to get help in wrapping my head around everything.

I am also mother to a RSO. It is so painful to us all but we still love our sons.

I too am a mother of a RSO. My son went in this last Sept for an 8 year sentence. I have a great support system but I can say it's still very consuming. Every day I struggle to find some kind of joy in this crazy world. Some days are better than others. I think it helps just to cry when you need to. The first week I cried everywhere I went. I cried in Target when I past the boys department, I cried at the grocery when I past a young mother and son, I cried at church, I cried at home, I cried in my car non-stop. I always feel better if I just allow my emotions to flow. I love honestwitness idea of craft or something that can help keep you from the constant obsessing and worry. I do yoga and meditation and read a lot. I write my son several times a week either through Jpay or snail mail, he calls me every day and I visit him when I can (I live many states away).
