A lot has happened in the past year. Wow!

I always tell people that no matter how horrible things seem now, it gets better.

Nak and her son's situation just validate that.

Success stories like this are very important to everyone here because it gives them optimism, hope, and dreams of a better day.

There is always hope. Even in the darkest moments some hope is there. Sometimes we might have to look for it, as it is not always obvious, but it is there.

I am happy for you Nak and even happier for your son. Anytime one of the posters on this board has something good happen to them, I have a good day.

I like good news, too. Things will look up eventually, right? It is always good to come to this board, whether it is just for reading posts, commenting, or having your own story to share. it makes it all more bearable, I think.

We should know by next week when he has a short meeting with his therapist. My son is still depressed over all that's happened. And now he missing his buddies in prison as well. It's been a really tough year for him. He says he feels like he's still in prison but now he's alone, without his friends.
I'm hopeful. One step at a time. I was worried this 'treatment' might go on and on and its coming to an end. My son is happy about it too. It lifts some of the black cloud off his head.

This is great news, Nako. I hope he gets his probation reduced also. Lastly, right before he has been on the registry for 10 years, try for hat reduction also.
