Let's hope the Alabama lawsuit is also successful.

If everyone will notice, all the strides we are making in our quest for fairer and more just laws, are being made on the state level through state courts, many times the Supreme Court of the state affected.

There have been rulings in several states which have helped us also. A couple of the rulings----in Oklahoma and Ohio-----resulted in the removal of thousands of registrants from the registry.

Much of the progress at the federal level has stalled.

This is why it is so important for everyone to get involved with your state RSOL chapter. That is where all the progress is being made.

Texas has a great bunch of folks with Texas Voices with Mary. California has done a fantastic job with Janice over at CaliforniaRSOL.

I have said for some time that we are making progress. Courts and judges are now seeing that many of these laws are ineffective and some are even counterproductive. Some courts are ruling that the applicability of some of the regulations are a violation of offenders' civil rights according to the STATE constitution of that state, not the United States Constitution.

We have to just hang together. We have our spats, but we are all in this for one common goal----to make these laws more tolerable so we can lead a more normal and happy life with our loved ones.

Keep the faith.

Remember that these laws were not passed and enacted in a year or so; it will take some time for us to see any justice, but things are slowly moving in our direction.

Me too! I won't click tinyurls because I don't want to end up somewhere I don't expect.

I know any domain can be spoofed but then there's a trail I clicked on the legit sounding site.

Too many of us are here because we ended up clicking a link we shouldn't have.
