From what I have heard,he is just another scumbag lawyer trying to prey on people on this site. He always offers his help, " just email me with questions", etc. Then he reels you in and gives you hope, and tries to get you to hire him, to send him money. He once offered to help my son, I sent him a private message which he never responded to. In the message I sent him, I thanked him in advance for any help or guidance he could provide, I also told him that because we did not have the funds to hire an attorney, my son was stuck with the one the court appointed. I think he never responded because I had told him in the beginning that I had no money.
Please, please, if you are going to deal with this guy, proceed with extreme caution.

I have not dealt with him but I have heard that same things as listed above. It is unfortunate becasue he seems to legitimately have the credentials and knowledge to help. Maybe he should stick to trying to change the laws to help and not give individuals false hope.

Well, I will say this to be fair. Since my wife and I hired him, from the first day he has shown us both respect. He does have compassion and understanding. I learned that the best way to correspond is through email with him. I wont call him a troll at all, because he NEVER contacted me, I contacted him. he was very honest up front about his credentials, and his experience. We did check him out. The only concern I had was the lack of communication, but as I learned, if there is nothing to tell, there is no reason for correspondence. If I had an emergency of any kind, He returned my call ASAP. I know many of us here have been victims of the system, and we all fear attorneys, courts, police, basically everybody dealing with the Judicial system. I know he is a busy man with a family, a lot of travel, and seems overwhelmed, but that is not a bad thing from what I understand. I'm sorry I started the topic and offended anyone, but I cant put down a man who actually has the compassion that he does. Love you all

My husband was able to call him. And the only problem we had with him was his fee. and that wasn't his fault. With both my husband and I disabled we couldn't afford him.

But I think the question is - those that did hire him did he help you? In other words did he do the work you paid him for to the best of his ability?

I would say to approach with caution. He may well be a knowledgeable attorney, but he was not at all helpful. I reached out to him one night when things seemed particularly bad and he Immediately e-mailed me back sounding helpful and empathetic. We e-mailed back and forth a few more times with him requesting paperwork regarding Brother's case ASAP. However, he repeatedly ignored my requests for information about his fees and then had his receptionist set up a phone call. When I asked her about the cost for this phone call she said that unless he had spoken to me about his fees, there would not yet be a charge. I thought he wanted more information. Our conversation was pleasant--he was friendly and even chatty. The information he imparted was standard issue stuff. (He didn't tell me anything I didn't already know). He doesn't handle the kind of case Brother was working on but offered to give me the name of an attorney who might. A week or so later I received a bill for $600. (Included in that was time spent on researching another attorney for referral!). I was not happy and e-mailed him. He said his receptionist was confused and apologized. We worked it out that I paid a portion of that fee.

Honestly, I felt like he took advantage of me and my emotional vulnerability when it comes to all things regarding Brother's situation. Maybe he's a good lawyer or maybe he's just a good talker. I don't know, but he taught me a lesson and I will be far more cautious in the future about stuff like this.

Today I am at the end of a rope, all of us in one way or another have been destroyed, humiliated, and damaged by this registry, and when you think you find someone who cares, and you pay with every dime you have and more, and then are ignored, and taken advantage of, it brings back all the old wounds that never heal. I seriously hate everything about the judicial system and those who prey on the weak for financial gain. Enough is enough, I can't be taken advantage of anymore. So many of you here are amazing wonderful people and I respect each and everyone one of you and your thoughts and opinions. If my wife gets deported after a beautiful 5 year marriage because of an attorney who failed to do his job, my life will be over, my wife is amazing in everyway, and her life here is everything she ever dreamed of and more, but the great possibility looms that she can be taken away from me, a man who has not even touched another human in any way. The whole system with all the different acts they have are making us look like fools, and again, we get preyed on by those who are supposed to help. I'm tired my friends, I'm sick, I'm angry, scared, and your the only ones I can turn to
