That was one of most powerful and heart wrenching videos I have ever seen. As soon as I watched the video several times, I immediately called up several of my friends and told them I was sending an email with an important link.
That important link was Andrew's story.
Thank you Jackie and Aladdin for your links. It is so important that we share these links with the general public.
This video was so well done and it told his story from a child's standpoint, and it did it without "using" or "exploiting" the child. So it can be done and stories like Andrews can also be applied to the families, especially the children, of registered citizens who are on the registry.
It told the story from the child's mouth, using terminology that could only come from a child. Nobody put him up to this. This was HIS story.
Andrew's story was just matter-of-factly told, but to me, it was horrifying----and I am a pretty strong person.
Everything was great. Whoever put that video together did a great job. The story was short, clear and concise, and it used imagery that was effective. After watching that video, I am even more disgusted----damn disgusted---with our runaway law enforcement.
This is what I was talking about when I said that we need to get the stories of our children, who have been affected by his or her father being on the sex offender registry, out there for everyone to see.
I could go on and on, but I won't.
Folks and fellow posters, just watch the video and tell others about it.

She is getting calls almost daily from other parents experiencing much the same, some as young as 15. As of now, it looks like Federal is taking the case, but not certain yet. The court date has been postponed yet again and is now scheduled for May 5th. This is only the beginning, I will keep you in touch with new developments.
As I have harped for a long time, videos like this that show the suffering of children cause by a runaway law enforcement, get people's attention and pull at their heart strings----and fast. These videos show a human side to the suffering that some of these laws cause. This video should do two things: 1) make law enforcement and those responsible for these tragedies ashamed, 2) and it should outrage us so much that we, as citizens, clamor for a change.
Staying with this case, can only open up more problems for the government and law enforcement. I cannot see a positive for this as far as law enforcement is concerned.
