Welcome Meille. What's your story?

Thank you for welcoming me , My story is that at 19 my youngest son suffered a mental break, unbeknown to me at the time it was the onset of schizophrenia. we tried desperately to get help from our local police, however we were unsuccessful, because they said they couldn't help because he hadn't done anything yet. but I had better keep an eye on him. {keep an eye on him ? REALLY } try doing that with someone who is in a schizophrenic break and delusional.

I called a Private psych. doctor to try and evaluate him and possibly admit him to keep him and others safe. I warned the doctor not to reveal that he was a psych doctor until we were safely inside the office,because my son was in deep denial and very scared of being crazy {his words}.

well that didn't happen either, just as we entered the doorway the doctor yawned ,stretched, asked us to forgive his tiredness ,long day, he said, and announced that he was a psych doctor.my son went into panic mode and screamed , you're a psych doctor ? I thought you were going to treat me for my aids.... he immediately turned, ran from the hospital with the doctor running behind him yelling catch him, catch him. that didn't happen either.

My son did not have aids, however he had announced to us that he had aids because while riding the bus the day before, someone with aids had breathed on him and he was VERY sure that he had become infected.

two days later he ran from the house , went a friend's house,however he entered through an open window,this scared them all I'm sure. he asked if he could see the friend, which the mom said was o.k. and let him go into the girl's bedroom , the girl ran from the room ,saying something is really wrong with tonio,,she said he had asked to have sex, and was sitting on her bed removing his shoes.


The police was called, my son was charged with home invasion,attempted burgulary, attempted criminal sexual assualt, and resisting arrest.

from there the rest went downhill very quickly. after 13 months trial , and many thousands of borrowed dollars .he was placed on the registry for 10 years after being found innocent by reason of insanity .

when we applied for removal from the registry, after the 10 year period, we were told that not only were they not going to remove him , but he was now upgraded to the status of a sexual preditor, with lifetime registration requirement. do to the ex post facto clause of the Adam WALSH law.

I am in the process of writing his story, I intend to publish my book sometime within the next couple of months. between the registry and schizophrenia it has truly been a nightmare.

I see some of you wish to be a part of this. That's great :)

I already have everything planned out, and I've set up a conference call for organizers of the event (I'm not used to being one to actually be in charge of an event).

The only reason I'm not posting details here is because I don't want to tip off the wrong people too early. I'm also trying to ensure there will be NO potential problems considering where the event will be held.

I will try to PM each individual here with more of the details. I'm a very slow typist so be patient.

PS: If you don't think you can attend, then consider sending in a donation to help offset the costs for attendees. We don't have many activists in the SE corridor of the USA, so some activists will be traveling from as far away as Oregon.

For now, I'm taking donations, but others may hold fundraisers soon.

I just want to thank those here who have expressed interest in this project, and we have the reptile on the defensive already.

This counter-protest will be a very well organized, coordinated event with a clear and powerful message.
