It's ironic that he produced shows about stuff like this, and he's now caught in the middle of it.

Some people call for taking the show off the air, others are standing up for the show. If society pushed to have Honey Boo-Boo and 19 Kids to be removed from the airway, then the same should apply for Law and Order. I have no interest in any of the shows, but we can't have it both ways...

Peek, I don't take pleasure in his misfortune- I merely find it ironically funny. I never wish anyone to have to go through this hell. Not even my worst enemy.

I am always surprised that people react in a visceral (such as demanding removal etc) way instead of realizing and learning that this affects all walks of life and does not make these people bad or deviant - just bad choices.

This situation may not change the general public's mind but at least one person out there (the producer) will now see that the fabricated crap on that show is based in lies

We all know that society wants to inflict as much pain as they can on anyone who has been deemed a sex offender - either by the courts or the media.

Personally, I think if people want to watch the shows, they should. But, I don't like it when the rules change, because you like one show but not the others.

If the fan base of Honey Boo-Boo and 19 Kids wanted to keep watching, then so be it. Same goes for Law and Order. But, if you demand the other two to be shut off, then the same should happen to Law and Order.

I don't want anyone else to suffer either, but have you heard some of those shows? I mean, their "expert explanations" for crimes go well beyond entertainment. For many people, this is the only "education" they get about the legal system and they don't realize how distorted it is. To me, those shows are irresponsible simply because of the huge impact they have in miseducating the masses.
