This guy reminds me of an attorney in southern California, who has gone the whole gamut of being a RSO, to getting OFF the registry, and regaining his law license to practice in CA. His name is Chance Oberstein, and his story can be found here, http://www.ocregister.com/news/oberstein-338377-certificate-court.html. He's worked with CA RSOL, and he gave a presentation at the 2013 RSOL National Conference in LA.

The mothers, wives, or girlfriends who have witnessed and been a part of an early morning raid by
the Gestapo posing as federal agents can attest to the bullying aspect. These thugs with badges push the occupants around----including ladies----tear the house apart, and generally conduct themselves as a crazed mob. If there is a dog in the house, it is lucky to be alive after they leave.
I think these federal agents enjoy it----and that is the saddest and most troubling aspect of all.
Most states refuse to allow any felon---especially a sex offender---to obtain a license to practice his or her chose profession. This includes physicians, pharmacists, nurses, psychologist, teachers, and even barbers. Sometimes there is a specific statute which prevents any felon to hold one of these jobs, but sometimes they refuse the applicant with a felony under the umbrella of "moral turpitude.
Moral turpitude is a vague concept and there is no specific act that entails moral turpitude. It is loosely defined as "conduct which is contrary to community standards, " which can mean different things to different people. As you can imagine moral turpitude can be interpreted to include many situations, including acts which are not even against the law. Even certain personal acts which are contrary to whoever is defining moral turpitude at the time can be enough to prevent a felon or sex offender from ever obtaining a professional license----thus no job in that field.
It is ironic that corrupt politicians and some of our leaders can commit acts and they never lose their job.
But oh no, in this country we can't allow a young man who made a mistake at one time in his life to ever make amends or redeem himself, and attempt to put his past behind him by getting a degree and requesting a license to practice his chosen profession. We cannot allow that at all.
When I was convicted, of course, I lost my pharmacy license for life, even though I was not even guilty. I did not even have a chance to appeal the decision. I was just another casualty in this witch hunt on sex offenders.
"Land of the free and home of the brave"----what a damn joke.
