I know how heartbreaking it must be to see the person you raised from a child or the man you want to spend the rest of your life with in prison. Other than death, I can think of nothing worse that your guy being in prison.
But I want to tell you something that might relieve your mind somewhat. He is most likely doing much better in there than you realize. Most inmates, even the very young, can usually emotionally and physically take care of themselves. Sure, they have their rough days when they are sad and overwhelmed by it all, just as you do.
But prison is not torture and for the most part inmates are pretty strong and able to deal with a prison environment.
I never saw or heard of a rape in prison, although there were plenty of cases in which a younger inmate was coerced to participate in sex. Most people get beaten up because of being in with the wrong crowd and doing something foolish---disrespect, getting into debt, getting into the drug scene, or something else.
I realize that sex offenders in prison have an especially tough time because of their crime, but if a person minds his own business, keeps a low profile, and acts like a decent human being, even the risk of the nature his crime greatly minimizes his chance at a confrontation.
So basically he is just counting the days to come home.
Of course, it just hurts a mother to see or think of her son in that kind of environment, but most inmates are big boys and can take care of themselves.
Inmates, like waiting mothers and wives, are pretty tough. If not at first, they learn to be.
So while it is sad that he is there, he is probably coping with this better than many of you are. Prison won't kill a person and there is life after prison.
And, let's not forget that they WILL be home someday. There IS a brighter day in these situations.

You are so right. You always know what to say to us and I am thankful for that. A lot of what you have posted and said has hit home and made me realize a lot. My husband is actually doing pretty good so far. I am going to see him tomorrow. I will be a long exhausting day from the drive there and back but it is WELL worth it just to be able to spend maybe 3-1/2 to 4 hours with him. We have had our rough patches in the last couple months but we have made it through them. Thanks again for all your support and wisdom you share with all of us.
the inmates to change their lives and achieve their dream even do they are inside of the cold bars
i was remember that when i call my inmate friend i use https://jailaid.com/ to reach him and he told me that
he is studying so that he will get his associate degree course even he is inside of the jail.
i was so amaze when i've hear that news from him and im very happy that he get some chances
For our friends in inmates don't loose hope, and be thankful that the lord sent us a good heart
and teach us, and guide us to the right path of our life
Sincerely
