I flew down to Floriduh and drove home, him and me.. took 2 days. We talked a lot . He's never been out of FL and the drive home thru the rolling hills and snow , as well as his new freedom after 26 months in Federal was a culture shock for him.. And now we live in Philly.. he doesn't like It here.. . yet. He didn't like being around people before he went in and now, with all the crap he had to deal with on the inside, he's going to need time to adjust to a new place and a new freedom.
He's really stressed about tomorrow. 8:30 probation office and sex offender registration. . .

Nak.. Your son is blessed to have a mother who has her head on so straight and is willing to go to the ends of the earth for their child. Be careful and follow the rules to a T. I remember my brother thought some of probationary rules were just so ridiculous and blatantly pointless that bending them a little was only to be expected. He was wrong, they look for reasons to violate SO's. Sometimes they even invent their own reasons to violate people if they have too

great to hear. Always happy to hear someone got to come home. I wish him the best. I live about 2 hours from philly, and i can imagine after being in floriduh..lol...for so long the weather we're having at the moment will be quite a shocker to the system. -16 tomorrow night here...burrrrrr!!!

Try this again . Best of luck to you and your son. I laughed when you mentioned the beer .My son was making his own beer before he was arrested and he's worried he won't be able to drink beer when he comes home. I asked if he wanted me get rid of it. No was answer he would rather give it way.

So glad he is home. He will probably not be allowed to have contact with other felons. He can appeal that later. Also, he may learn to love Philly, as I do.
