Does anyone know or have experience with the Jimmy Ryce Act?

I am not familiar with all aspects of Florida law, but we have some very intelligent people here that I am sure
can give you some information.

There are a couple of registrants on here from Florida; also some wives and mothers of offenders who know
Florida law much better than I.

I know a little bit about it so I'm going to assume a relative or someone you know might be subject to involuntary civil commitment? to figure that out you need to know exactly how whatever this person was convicted of was charged.
