Thanks everyone, I am going to scan and email the papers to him. I always keep the originals.
But now I am kicking myself in the butt for doing something incredibly stupid. After my son was arrested I cleaned out the bedroom and packed up all his things. When I came across the indictment paperwork that listed all his original charges, I tore it up, I didn't want it in the house. Fortunately, I kept everything else.
According to my son double jeopardy doesn't apply because the charges are different. aladdin4d, Hopefully he is wrong, and you are right. I am also hoping the time line for Montana charges are after our house was raided and his laptop, etc., were confiscated, no laptop, no internet.

@kittyk96 - Double jeopardy can get really complicated. Even though the charges are different that doesn't necessarily mean double jeopardy won't apply. What matters is the specific elements of the charges. Charge A has 4 specific elements. Charge B has 5 elements and 4 of those elements are essentially the same as the elements of charge A. If you've already been adjudicated on charge A double jeopardy may come into play because charge B is trying to convict you of the exact same criminal conduct a second time.

@frogpond - The cases I know about are all out of FL and were all resolved at the trial level so there's nothing binding on any court. If you're looking for angles and ideas for defense though feel free to PM.

@ aladdin4d, Thanks, that makes sense. I emailed him what I have that he asked for, lets hope the lawyer here does her part, and that he finds what he is looking for.
