My son will be released in Dec. lord willing. He has been in prison since 09. He was sentenced to 10 years and will be released in 5.. Lewd act on a minor under 16. .I live in NC. In SC where he is he has attended a program and he will be able to go into a half way house. My question is How do I find out information for SC that I would like to pass on to him about what to expect. I know he has to wear an ankle (GPS) but I cant seem to find out how long?? I've also been told it is life on the registry?? I just need direction please to find out the laws.
