But if they ever wanted to come in and look around without a warrant, I would just say "no." I would tell them I have nothing to hide---which I don't----but they have no business in the inside of my house, and that is all I would say.

IF, you are not under court supervision ie 'Probation or Parole, you have the same protections under the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution of the US against 'Unreasonable Search and Seizure' and you can tell the cops to "Get Stuffed"..
They will ask, "Do you have something to hide"? Tell them to get stuffed.(Or the more unpleasant words I would use), no warrant, no enter....
Then they will say,(especially the Feds) "We can get a warrant"...NO, THEY CAN'T otherwise they would already have one...
NO MATTER THE THREATS, DO NOT LET THEM IN WITHOUT A WARRANT..
Here is where the problems come in for most people: they do not know how to tell the police “no.” They either don’t want to make the police mad or don’t want the police to think they are hiding anything. So, many just relent and allow them to come in----and then things often go wrong. Any little thing they see they will make a big deal out of it.
First, nobody should worry about making he police mad because if they want to search your house you can rest assured that they don’t particularly like you anyway and they just don’t care. Policeman are not your friend. This is not about friendship anyway; this is about YOUR civil rights.
Secondly, it does not matter if you are or are not hiding anything. They still do not have the right to come in. So what if they think you are hiding something? Rest assured that they already suspect that you are hiding something anyway, so who cares? Tell them NO---and stick with it.
Oh, they will probably try to talk their way in, but just keep telling them “NO.”
Several years ago my wife and step daughters were having problems. Her daughters left home on bad terms and one of the girls accused her mom of keeping some items that did not belong to her. A policeman came to the door and asked if he could come in and “look around.” (Whey they just “want to look around” BEWARE.) I asked him if he had a warrant and he said no. I then told him, that “no you cannot come in without a warrant.” He said, “I just want to look around,” to which I replied, “Oh, come on, officer, you know better than this. You know you cannot look around on the inside of the house without a warrant.” He left and never came back.
You have to say “no” and be firm. If they come up with this, “if you don’t have anything to hide” nonsense, just tell them, “NO” you have no business in my house. I am exercising my rights.” After that no cop will be stupid enough to barge in for fear of a civil suit.
Be polite, but be firm.
