In arizona those convicted of sexual exploitation are in no way viewed as low risk offenders. Cp, even if its just one photo, and no matter if the photo is of someone who is 17 yrs old or 7 yrs old, you are automatically classified as tier 3 and any probation is lifetime probation and its IPS ( intensive probation supervision) . Its absolutely ridiculous and a huge waste of tax payer money

Arizona is crazy when it comes to sex offenders. Amynmesa is right. Remember, this is the state that gave some guy 200 years for having 20 images of child porn on his computer (10 years for each image) a few years back, so I would not be surprised with anything Arizona did.

Ya the guy with 200 years was Morton Berger. Arizona is the only state i know of where if your charged with possession of CP you actually hope for the charges to be federal so you can get some leniency.

I agree. People don't want to hear the truth about the statistics of reoffending. They hear the BS and fear people like this and cases like Dugard, Smart and the women in Ohio and then think we have to do more to prevent this from happening again..
