Just a update. The people are taking more action against my boyfriend. All lawyers contacted refuse to help without at least $10,000 up front. :-( not sure what to do.

They won't send him to jail for not paying, if it was child support they could but for all other stuff. They abolished the Debtors prisons back a century ago. Although some would say that they aren't gone, just renamed as Child support holds or something similar.

Have you talked to anyone at https://nebraskansunafraid.org/ they might be able to help you move in the right direction...

Don’t just stop there. Find ALL the videos from both people and LEARN! If they talk about someone else google them and listen to them as well. The whole world is WAKING UP! IT”S TIME YOU WAKE UP TOO! Spread this info to everyone you meet so we can END THIS!

Hope your right. All of this is a mess and it doesn't help that no one will help him. Yes, I have talked to nebraska unafraid before. They had no advice we had not already tried. I sent them another message saying we had tried all their suggestions and were turned away. No response yet. We shall see. Thanks for the advice though. It's nice to have others thing of some ideas too.

Unless your guy has deep pockets---and I don't think he has----I would not worry a thing about a civil suit from one of his victims.

She first has to find an attorney that would take her case and all the attorneys I know will not take a case like that unless it means a sure payday.
I doubt she even has the money to hire an attorney to take the case to begin with.

And if she did, your guy does not seem to have much money for her to take even if she won. She can get judgment, but that is about all.

And no, they will definitely not send him to jail if he is unable to pay the judgment in a civil suit. It is not a criminal matter and unlike child support, I doubt that they have specific criminal statutes to address this kind of situation.

Who would send him to jail? Not the DA. Not anyone.

If she won, he could not pay the judgment and that is not a crime. We do not have debtor's prison in this country yet.

The victim does have an attorney. It is the families best friend who has also taken my guys parental rights away from his boys recently. Yes my guy has little money. So maybe a judgement wouldn't be so bad. Thank you for your advice rewdiazepam.

The attorney may be doing the victim a favor since he is a family friend, but he cannot get "blood out of a turnip."

If there is nothing to get, I don't know why he would sue. Getting judgment does not equate to getting money.

Your guy has nothing to get, so I would not worry.

If she wins the case, what could they do? He has no money.

Rewidazepam thanks for everything :-) You are right, he has no money and they wouldn't be able to do anything.

The attorney is as mean spirited and has the same morals as his ex wife. So I am sure his ex wife is paying for all of the trouble the lawyer is causing.

I feel sorry for them. After all these years they still have not received help to forward with their life. I hope they find peace within themselves soon to have a meaningful and happy life while they still can.
