No doubt law enforcement has been doing this for years.

Especially after 9/11 with the Patriot Act, the FBI and other organizations really escalated their act of keeping tabs on everyone as a means to control the citizens. People were so fearful after 9/11 that they readily agreed to give up some privacy for safety. We willingly tossed our civil rights in the trash and watered down our Constitutional protections.

Many brave men and women fought for those freedoms over the years, and we just gave them away. Shame on America!!!

Yes, we have, for the most part, kept most of the terrorists out of the country and have had no subsequent attacks.

But in doing so by giving up so many of our freedoms, we have created a new terrorist group-----militarized police units. The American Taliban.

We created a Frankenstein monster and now it has become so prominent with all these three letter acronyms---FBI, ICE, NSA, etc.,----that they are far more bothersome than any Mid East terrorist.

This is called "unintended consequences" and it is an almost unstoppable force.

as to the FBI or LE of any sort? i have no doubt that they could track and trace me with no problem. drvs license, SS number, my fingerprints are on file with the feds thru dep of homeland security, blood type, open medical records databases, etc. the list goes on.....

I love that quote by Ben Franklin - I tell my students all the time that not many people today really understand what Freedom is - the folks that founded this country understood. To me the area of the World that truly understands human freedom is the Netherlands and all parts thereof. Americans think that their freedoms are guaranteed by a piece of parchment - but they are not - We have to insist on our freedoms but today in the US anyone that insists on their freedoms is attacked by a militarized police force.

attacked and ridiculed by those who are afraid of not only the boogeyman but their own shadows.

and of course any of those who want, need or desire control.....

With one in three adults in this database the numbers should be tipping to stop it. But, the sheeple love it. This way they can find someone who they believe is less than them. Oh, and LE loves the money!!!
