Where is rsol of fla .i hope they going to try to speak up voice out what these people in fla are doing.!man my home state i always wanted to go back to my older years .but with this stuff going on there i wont ever go back .since my hub on registry we all are and we all face life of hell in fla .they wanted do this tenn but lawyers spoke up how public shame it was .people are already on registry .thats more punishment .i hope those people are doing something in this fight with all these restrictions.

They did this in Oklahoma about five years ago. Just as this proposed law in Florida only affects "sexual predators," the Oklahoma statute only affected "habitual" and "aggravated" offenders.

In Oklahoma, they will also only issue a one year license for sex offenders rather than the four year license they issue for other citizens.

There is absolutely no valid reason for a law such as this. This is all about shaming and a politician looking "tough on crime."

Sex offenders is the only group that they could do this to and get away with it.

By the way, the sex offender on the driver's license backfired in Oklahoma. When the Starkey case was heard by the Oklahoma Supreme Court, the words "sex offender" on the drivers license was one of the factors which the court used to rule that the tier levels could not be applied retroactively. They were very critical of the driver's license law with the three red markings on the face of the license with the words "sex offender."

All I can say is shame on these politicians who use our loved ones to secure a political dynasty for themselves. If I had time it would be intresting to see who comes up with the most spiteful bills and compare it to their career. As in who is grasping the hardest to hold on to their office. Have they come up with anything benefit al or is this all they do?
