Its a huge relief. We can handle 3 months. The next step is to find somewhere to live. Its very likely he will still lose everything. So glad this part is over. Its been a rough 2 years.

this whole mess we are all dealing with is beyond rough. but the waiting on the courts and the sentencing i think is truly the worse. it's a limbo of nightmares, helplessness, stress, anxiety and fear.

That plus all the little hurdles that are set (character references and other documents) which then apparently no one looks at.

It's a huge relief that its not what I was expecting. I can handle a few months. It's so hard to believe he is on the registry. He's not that kind of person and I never imagined this could happen. He will find out tomorrow what tier two means for him.

We waited 2 years, they wouldn't share anything w/ our forensic expert. THEN the judge gives him over 2 years "for wasting the courts time w/ this trial foolishness". No wonder I have little belief in the "justice" ssystem.

Gee whiz Lilly - to me that shows bias on the judges part (my sons second assigned judge had some of that too) - I actually reported something she said to the FL Bar - of course I never heard anything but I did get a little satisfaction about a year later when they mysteriously removed her from Criminal court and put her in civil court - could be a political move but I like to think it was becasue lots of folks complained about her. Having that trial was his right and it is how the injustice system works! Using the courts in a proper manner is never a waste of time and I for one think you should report it! I made sure the comment was in the transcript too!

Just found out he isn't aloud to see me or my kids unless we meet the probation officer and he approves it. And he can't live with anyone who has kids. So I have no idea where he is going to go when he gets out.

You will be waiting for dad as i am waiting for my son. My son told me this " If you dont take care of yourself and do what is best for you while i am in here....You will be unable to be there for me while i am in here or when i get out." Makes sense.
