Such a shame...it ALMOST begs China hackers to hack all the servers..anything to disrupt the internet for a month or so....this is the society we created and now are slaved to...

It's awful. I've been thinking about this in regard to Anonymous going after alleged rapists, even when the alleged rape has been investigated and not charges brought. The internet is full of angry, nasty people who believe that everybody is guilty and that every guilty person deserves the harshest punishment. It undermines justice to allow that kind of hatred and vigilantism to go unchecked.

I always hated computers and even more so after our situation. My fiancé is an innocent man who thought he could fight in court for his rights and justice. And they made it impossible. They stacked all against him. But an innocent person does not plea. There's no way they should. Even though his lawyers kept pressuring him he refused to say he did something he didn't. Now he's facing a rediculously long sentence. For a crime w no direct victim. It's insane! This country is being run by idiots who only have regard for themselves who's only agenda is thier next election. It's just getting worse n worse. No one has any rights unless you are one of those in politics or the judicial system. The rest of us are just pawns to be used in thier games.

My husband went to court, andvwas "lucky" to get a hung jury. He's innocent and he should have been acquitted with all the evidence we had. It's obvious to about anyone with even one working brain cell that he was falsely accused as retaliation, and as means to an end in a fsmily feud. However, the DA in the case mahaged to sweep most of the pertinent evidence under the Rape Shield, via a very loose translation. We did manage to keep in the fact that my step-daughter had been molested several months before by a family member of my SIL . We had reported it (like you're supposed to) and after that all hell broke loose. They had wanted us to just let them deal with it.
Yeah, so anyway, the jury did get to at least hear a few nuggets of the truth and my hubby got a hung jury. The DA was pretty livid that she'd been bested by a newbie public defender and vowed to retry the case, and she was bound and determijed to have what little evidence we did have in, tossed.
It was3 weeks later that my hubby took a plea to a misdemeanor. Three months in jail sure beats a possible 20+ for something you didn't do.

Honestly more and more innocent people do plea Because their lawyers make them very afraid

Mine? yes, it was for 10 years but since AWA was adopted by PA, it's now for life. All for a misdemeanor that he didn't even do...and even if her had...it was supposed to be for touching the breast of of an 8 yr old over clothing

The guy who did molest her ...my SIL's nephew..it was his 3rd offense, and he plead to a charge of corruption of a minor and until AWA he didn't have to register at all.
Sigh....I loathe the registry, Our whole screwed up family situation is proof that the registry is just a "feel good thing"
