I am woefully ignorant on laws and policies pertaining to SO. I would like to educate myself in the hopes that I will feel less frustrated and helpless. Can anyone suggest where I might start my research?

Also another avenue for education is to get a handle on what the true statistics about sex crimes are compared to the fear mongering that is reported by the media and politicians
