I wonder if those of you whose loved one is facing, or has been convicted of, internet CP charges know about CAUTIONclick? It is a very active group working to change the ridiculous laws surrounding this offense. You can get info by checking their webpage at http://cautionclick.webs.com/ . I suggest just typing that URL into your browser since links often don't work here.
I went to the site, and while it is a group with activist motivations, activism wasn't being promoted here, just the link to where it is promoted. Which I don't see as a problem, but organizing using this site, which is not secure, is not private and easily googled is the reason that it is not welcome here. Along with all the other reasons of this being a support site.
I just hated to see somebody jumped on..or perhaps i percieved as being jumped on? That's why I spoke up.

also i think another thing that might have been perceived wrong was that when using a compound sentence with an if statement you have to take both section of the compound. in other words it would look like this.
but if you really wanted to know, and [i] if [/i] you computer illiterate....
i think that might have cleared that up a little better.
i didn't till later when the person started to make fun of my language skills, that i mentioned that, which is my fault, and i see where people could perceive it as such.

I would like to remind everyone that in the written format things can be perceived very differently than the way the writer intended. It has happened to me a lot over the years and as I grew in the online community so did my skills writing so it wasn't quite so bad.
This site is for support, yes. Links to sites where activism is happening is welcomed, because those sites are secure and being policed better than this site can be. But planning activism on this site is not welcome, for the security reasons as well as for the support ones. If there are people out there that would like to have a private support group site I can set something up but probably not on this site, I would have to do some research on it to be sure. But I believe that the original intention of this site was so that it could be easily found by those in need that were out googling.
If you feel that you are being jumped on, I will never blame anyone for defending themselves, that just seems to go against everything we talk about on here. If things get really out of hand PM me or even email me at wisonsinrsol at gmail dot com and I will be more than happy to see what I can do about whatever is going on. Shoot PM any of the admins and we will all be happy to see what can be done... But don't feel badly about coming to your own defense or the defense of others. We are all here to learn and sometimes to learn voices must be raised and some uncomfortable things said. But they never said learning was going to be easy or painless.
